The 1982 Tron is something of a prophet figure, picturing a futuristic world which is far opposite from our reality and this is Disney is picking for the Tron: Legacy. The old creaky scheme directed by Steven Lisberger was redressed and the digital-era frontier iconography gives birth to Tron: Legacy which was going to hit the theaters this December 17th.The hard- drive was reprogrammed by Joseph Kosinski, Tron: Legacy film director. But even this $170 million worth rebooted movie was said to be the light bearer of the 1982 Tron’s shadowed fate, it earns lots of critics putting it in between commercial success or risk to flop. The 1982 is a classic and it breaks through the movie history making the crowd to remember its virtual icon and its namesake game but not the character and story.
Some people might think that it’s a waste to watch Tron: Legacy while other are seems to be excited as well. Tron is both bad and good. Bad because Disney is trying to run a program that is corrupted already. Good because, somehow they are trying to defrag the movie and fixing some flaws that drops the 1982 film before- I just hope they were working it right already. So far, I could say that this film deserves a bucket of popcorn but I am not saying that it is really a good one till maybe I could watch Tron: Legacy.
Hopes and pray for the movie, that’s all I could offer and I am sure that Disney is quite nervous by now for they are facing a new challenge from the old scheme.
