Terrified…stunned…thrilled, I love the way how it feels, pale face with cold clammy skin and pale nail beds, much like having a hypoglycemic dilemma. And speaking for spookytacular experience, it’s a month ago since the last time I experienced a goosebump- thanks to some Halloween inspired television shows. I kind of missing it already, few more months ahead but it’s no need to wait that long, well, I think I just need to watch Season of the Witch, I bet you should not miss it too.
Season of the Witch, so what’s the fuss all about? It is an upcoming supernatural thriller film that stars Nicolas Cage. Don’t get bemused on his previous movie, you know, the Mickey Mouse inspired film. Season of the Witch is pinching on good and evil story, it follows a plot on the 14th century where Cage is crusader named Behmen. He never thought that battling with Turks will worn-out his faith as years weathered him. Clouded y a dark past, he returns home and finds his homeland incinerated by a Black Plague brought by an ancient dark force.
Behmen and loyal comrade Felson (Ron Perlman) were send in front of the cardinal and were ordered to take a peasant girl who is believed to be a witch and cause of the Black Plague delivering her into a remote abbey inhabited by monks where a ritual is to be performed to destroy the evil in her.
A priest (Stephen Campbell Moore), a grieving knight (Ulrich Thomsen), an itinerant swindler (Stephen Graham) and a headstrong youth (Robert Sheehan), the pack trails a dreadful mission.
The evil uses the company’s whatever weakness it sees in their hearts which made them to pass through hell.
Season of the Witch will debut on January 7th 2011under Columbia Pictures and from the directions of Dominic Sena.
It’s going to be a hell of excitement so don’t miss to watch Season of the Witch.
